Mood Board February - Dusty Attic

Welcome and thank you so much for popping by.

Sharing with you today my take on this months beautiful moodboard.

Lets just have another look at moodboard Jen the Boss designed for us to play with.

Not bad!  Not bad at all!  I love it!

Here is my take.  I chose to play with most of the colours from the palette

To start I covered all my chipboard.  The Ornate Gates I covered in a white pigment pearly ink.  I adhered that to my page.  Using some blue acrylic paint I painted the Doily and the Iron Garnish and then adhered them to my page.

I tucked under some fussy cut flowers and then set about making my paper cluster for my photo to sit on.  The Birds on a Branch was also covered with a light coat of brown pearly pigment ink and I snipped it in half to be able to tuck a piece each side of the photo.

I finished of this side of my layout by adding my flowers and title.

Before I stuck on the Juliette balcony, I covered it with some gesso before rubbing over some white gold prima wax.

This layout ended up being really layered up with chippy but I love the effect.  Definately one to go in a frame and on my wall in the entry way!
