Mini Album with Nesting Dies

My turn again on the blog today and I have a really sweet super quick little mini album to share with you.

I LOVE making mini albums and I'm always looking for something a little different.  So I pulled out my new nesting dies  from the latest released Sweet Accent collection, a 6 x 6 paper pad of Vintage Rose paper and also a bunch of the co-ordinating dies and this is what I came up with.

This is a really simple little mini.  The embellishments are very simple, no interactive pages and a quick binding system with two rings and ribbons.

On my front cover I have used one of the lovely quotes from the paper pad.  The pretty little lace die is the Vintage Border die  I used a few simple paper blooms and teamed it with the gorgeous Vintage Branch die.  this is becoming a definite "must have" of mine!.

Here's how I made the pages with my nesting dies.  Oh my gosh please excuse that filthy mat!  A little tip for you that one of the other girls on the team suggested to clean it is hand sanitiser!  Yep works a treat.  Mine is definitely in need of a clean!

I cut 5 pieces out of cereal boxes and then 10 sheets of patterned paper (one piece to cover each side)  I then inked around the edges with some brown ink and then went on to embellish each little board.

Here is my first page.  All of my photo mats on my pages I have cut using the rectangle and scallop rectangle nesting dies.  Tucked again under the paper bloom is the Vintage Branch die

I have used a different die under this bloom.  This one is the Daffodil Spray.  Again another little quote from the paper pad just over the top of the Vintage Border die

The little hearts on this page are again from the older release of nesting dies and my favourite vintage branch die

This page was embellished simply by using the little postage stamps and wording on the papers in the pad.

This is really an easy little mini to put together and would work perfect with our new Sweet Accents nesting dies.  There is some fantastic shapes that would make up some awesome books.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Hope I have inspired you all in some small way to try something new.

Until next time
