Memories - Dusty Attic

Hello and welcome to the blog today.  I hope this post finds you well and safe.

Today I am sharing with you a layout of my daughter from her school ball earlier this year.

I started my layout by choosing a few chipboard pieces and made a bit of a cluster.

Both of the frames I covered with some blue paint and then added some Prima waxes to give a little more definition.

I tucked under the fancy trim towaard the right hand side of my layout which i embossed with white embossing powder.

I then set about making my flower clusters and also tucking in some the the perforated mesh chipboard.  I love this one for adding just that something extra.

Here is another close up

Moodboard Dusty Attic - June

Hello and welcome to a new month and a new moodboard - June.  Wow half way through the year and what a crazy ride it has been so far.  I hope wherever you are that you are safe and well.

Lets take a look at the moodboard for this month

Lovely hey?

So I decided to create a card.

I started by layering up some pretty papers and then collected a few left over chipboard pieces from other projects.  I had some of the Broken Bits - Marrakesh which I covered with some sparkly blue embossing powder.   I then placed the Decortive Frame over the top.  This was also heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The Clockworks piece was just a half that I had left over from a previous project but went perfectly tucked into my flowers.

Here is a closer look.

If you are interested in how I put by card together, you can see my process video here.

Stay safe and keep creating!
