Love Layout

Hi paper people and Happy New Year!  Hope this year is a great one for you and your loved ones.

Today I have another layout to share with you using the stunning Vintage Rose collection

I created my layout and then to give it a little more depth I used another sheet of my back ground paper and fussy cut around the flowers and clocks and popped it up using lots of foam tape.  It kind of creates an illusion of a border.  I then fussy cut some other leaves out of some of the other left over pages to slide under the border too.

I teamed it with the new Cuckoo Clock die and also the Vintage Branch die to create a simple embellishment.  This little Cuckoo clock die is just fab not only for layouts but makes a fantastic feature on cards too..

I fussy cut some butterflies from the paper and also added some Glossy Accents to them to give them a glassy finish.  All my flowers have also been hit with the  Glitzin Glamour for a bit of sparkle.

Yep not a doily in site on this page!  Believe me that was hard to do but I just couldn't squeeze one in so I went with one of the older fancy die strips running down the centre of my pink banner.  That die is the Chandeliers Set .

The papers have a couple of fantastic pages with simple wording and phrases on them which make titles a breeze for our pages but also great for cards.  I have just simple cut out the word "love" and left that as my title.

To finish off my layout I added a few of the new 2mm gemstones and yep I also hand stitched around the papers just for a bit of extra dimension.

Here is a couple of close up shots of the details.

Love this cuckoo clock!

You can see here the dimension in the border .

Thanks so much for popping by and for all your lovely comments.  We love to read them all!

Until next time
